Sean Caporaletti

Sean Caporaletti concentrates his practice in oil, gas, and mineral law, wills, trusts & estates, and various real estate matters. He actively represents land and mineral owners, banks, and trustees in matters including lease negotiation, audit, enforcement, and termination, royalty disputes, title issues, rights of way and easements, real estate transactions, family wealth transfers, estate planning, asset management, and trust administration.

Sean also advises exploration and production companies, midstream companies in a variety of oil and gas matters including owner relations, due diligence, asset acquisition, regulatory compliance, business planning, and management. In addition to representation as counsel, he also provides expert witness testimony on oil and gas matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Caporaletti was a Senior Mineral Manager for a prominent South Texas mineral management firm and served as in-house and outside counsel to various exploration, production, and midstream companies. He has been selected numerous times as a “Best Lawyer in San Antonio” in the area of Energy, Oil & Gas.
