Bio

Jim Drought was born in San Antonio, Texas.  He is a fourth-generation lawyer and has been actively engaged in civil litigation for over 45 years, concentrating his practice in oil and gas, wills, estates, real estate, business and commercial litigation.  Board Certified in Civil Trial Law for over 25 years, he has been named in Best Lawyers in America and selected as a Texas Super Lawyer and Best Lawyer in San Antonio numerous times.  The C.B. and Anita Branch Scholarship at St. Mary’s Law School was established by a former client in recognition of the excellent legal services he provided.
