Calhoun was born in San Antonio, Texas, November 23, 1950. Calhoun’s practice concentrates in the field of oil, gas, and mineral law, a field in which he has practiced since joining the firm in 1976. He has been board certified in this subject since 1989. He has wide experience in representing mineral owners and oil and gas exploration and production companies in oil and gas transactions, leases, contracts, and title matters, as well as in oil and gas related trials and appeals.
