Laura Gonzalez is a bilingual attorney and a proud South Texas native, born in Pharr and raised in Edinburg, Texas. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She later attended St. Mary’s University, where she received both her Juris Doctor from the School of Law and her Master of Business Administration from the Greehey School of Business.
While in law school , Laura served as the Vice President of the Student Division of the Federal Bar Association and Criminal Law Association, reflecting her passion for justice and legal service. During her time at the business school, she was selected as a recipient of the Texas Business Hall of Fame’s Future Texas Business Legend Award, an honor awarded to outstanding individuals who demonstrate business leadership and entrepreneurial excellence. She remains an active member of the organization.
Before joining the firm, Laura represented clients in personal injury cases, where she was dedicated to securing just outcomes for those affected by serious accidents and injuries.
