Taylor is a 5th generation Texan and a 2nd generation Texas lawyer. After graduating from TCU, Taylor served in the US Navy as an intelligence officer for nine years. In this role he lived in Europe and both US coasts and travelled the world including Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He deployed with VFA-113 on the aircraft carrier USS CARL VINSON in support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE.
Taylor left the Navy to move home to Texas and attend St. Mary’s University School of Law. In law school Taylor was an editor for the St. Mary’s Law Journal, volunteered for multiple legal charities, and was a member of the Oil & Gas Society. Taylor’s interests in law are commercial law, oil & gas, constitutional law, real estate, and estate planning.
