Profile	Jim Drought was born in San Antonio, Texas, May 8, 1943. He is a fourth-generation lawyer, following his great-grandfather, Henry P. Drought, his grandfather, Henry P. Drought Jr., and his father, James L. Drought. In 1969, he joined his uncle, Tom Drought, in the firm where he has practiced since that time.
